We persuaded the SORB to reduce the classification of an elderly disabled client, homeless for many years, who had been listed publicly on the internet for 20 years as a Level Three and later as a Level Two based on a 30-year-old rape conviction. Following an evidentiary hearing, based on his age, home situation, medical condition, offense-free time, and expert psychological report, the SORB deemed him to be low risk, and removed his information from the SORB’s public website.
