Directions

Rankin & Sultan is located in a 3-story building with a brick front, tan sides, and a tower with a weathervane on top. The building is directly across Massachusetts Avenue from the Lexington Post Office. The entrance is on Massachusetts Avenue in the middle of the building underneath the tower and large “1666” signs. Rankin & Sultan is located in Suite P-16 on the 3rd floor. Take the elevator. Or, take the staircase to the second floor, walk down the hall, and take another staircase (see sign) to the 3rd floor.

By Public Transportation from Boston

Alewife Station in Cambridge, which services the Red Line, is the closest MBTA station. From Alewife Station, MBTA bus number 62/76 will take riders the rest of the way. Riders should take the Red Line outbound toward Alewife Station, which is the final stop. At Alewife Station, riders should take MBTA bus number 62/76 outbound toward “Bedford VA.” Riders should get off the bus at “Massachusetts Avenue @ Lexington Post Office.” Rankin & Sultan is across Massachusetts Avenue from the Lexington Post Office.

By Car

From Boston and the South Shore

From Boston (including Logan Airport) and the South Shore, drivers should take I-93 North to Exit 31. Take Exit 31 and merge onto MA-16 West/Mystic Valley Parkway toward Arlington. After merging onto MA-16 West/Mystic Valley Parkway, drivers should continue along the river. Stay in the left lane to go straight. Where the road forks shortly after the intersection of Boston Avenue, bear right towards Arlington, remaining on Mystic Valley Parkway next to the river. At the rotary, take the 2nd exit to stay on Mystic Valley Parkway. After about 0.7 miles, continue straight through a traffic light onto MA-2A West/Summer Street. After about 3 miles, continue straight onto Lowell Street. After about 0.4 miles, turn left at traffic light onto Woburn Street. In just over a mile, Woburn Street intersects with Massachusetts Avenue. Take a right onto Massachusetts Avenue. After about 0.2 miles, Rankin & Sultan will be on the left side of Massachusetts Avenue.

There are parking spots with meters on Massachusetts Avenue. Drivers who wish to park in a municipal lot may do so by taking a right turn from Massachusetts Avenue onto Edison Way, one street after Grant Street, after passing the Lexington Post Office, which will be on the right side of Massachusetts Avenue.

From the South

From the South, drivers should take I-95 North until Exit 30. Take Exit 30 and merge onto MA-2A East/Marrett Road toward East Lexington. After about 0.2 miles, turn left onto Lincoln Street. After about 1 mile, turn left onto Worthen Road. After about 100 yards, turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue. After about 0.6 miles, drivers will reach our building on the right side of Massachusetts Avenue, directly across the street from the Lexington Post Office.

There are parking spots with meters on Massachusetts Avenue. Drivers who wish to park in a municipal lot may do so by taking a left turn from Massachusetts Avenue onto Edison Way just before the Edison Station and before passing the Lexington Post Office on the opposite side of the street.

From the North and North Shore

From the North and the North Shore, drivers should take I-95 South until Exit 31A. Take Exit 31A and merge onto MA-225 East/MA-4 South/Bedford Street. Continue to follow MA-225 East/MA-4 South/Bedford Street. MA-4 South/Bedford Street becomes MA-4 South/Massachusetts Avenue. After about 2 miles, drivers will reach our building on the right side of Massachusetts Avenue, directly across the street from the Lexington Post Office.

There are parking spots with meters on Massachusetts Avenue. Drivers who wish to park in a municipal lot may do so by taking a left turn from Massachusetts Avenue onto Edison Way just before the Edison Station and before passing the Lexington Post Office on the opposite side of the street.

From the Mass Pike

Drivers coming from the West on I-90 East (the Mass Pike) may choose to take Exit 14 toward I-95. Keep left at the fork and merge onto I-95 North following signs for New Hampshire. Continue on I-95 North for about 7.2 miles, until Exit 30. Take Exit 30 and merge onto MA-2A East/Marrett Road toward East Lexington. After about 0.2 miles, turn left onto Lincoln Street. After about 1 mile, turn left onto Worthen Road. After about 100 yards, turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue. Drivers coming from the West on I-90 East may also choose to take Exit 17 toward Newton/Watertown. After taking Exit 17, merge onto Washington Street. After about 0.2 miles, use the 2nd from the left lane to turn slightly left to stay on Washington Street. After about 489 feet, continue straight onto Centre Street. After about 0.1 miles, at the Starbucks, continue onto Galen Street. After about 0.5 miles, continue onto Mt. Auburn Street. After about 0.4 miles, turn left onto Common Street. After about 0.3 miles, at the rotary, take the 2nd exit to continue straight onto Common Street. After about 1.8 miles, turn left onto Concord Avenue. After about 233 feet, turn left to stay on Concord Avenue. After about 1.3 miles, take a slight right onto Winter Street. Continue for about 1 mile, onto Watertown Street. Continue for about 0.5 miles, onto Pleasant Street. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto Massachusetts Avenue. After about 1.7 miles, our building will be on the left side of Massachusetts Avenue.
