Relief from Sex Offender Registration Granted
We persuaded the SORB to grant relief from registration to our client, who had previously required to register as a Level 2 for 20 years based on an out-of-state sex offense against a child, on grounds that he currently presented no cognizable risk in light of his age and offense free time.

Criminal Charges Averted
Our client was accused of rape by a woman who claimed she was too intoxicated to consent. After we provided the investigating detective with exculpatory witness statements and documentary evidence, the District Attorney’s Office declined to file any criminal charges.
