Our client was charged with being an armed career criminal in possession of a firearm, which carries a 15-year mandatory minimum sentence, and related offenses. Using video surveillance of the traffic stop obtained by our investigator, we were able to convince the Commonwealth that there were serious inconsistencies between the arresting officer’s sworn testimony and what actually occurred during the stop and subsequent search of our client’s vehicle. All of the charges were dropped.
